Hide Taskbar When Fullscreen Chrome
When I open Chrome my taskbar goes away completely. Currently, for example, my task bar is no where to be found. I have read other similar postings and absolutely NONE of the fixes others have found have fixed this problem, except keeping the window minimized and hand-fitting it to my screen to fit the taskbar. But that it's extremely irritating and should be unnecessary in my opinion.I HAVE checked to see that my taskbar is not on auto-hide (it's not).
I've also tried putting the auto hide on and it still will not show up even when i hover over it. There is no 'always on top of other windows' option that i can find.
And trust me, i have been digging for over an hour, if it was there. I would find it. The tool bar is locked as well, that has no effect.My computer runs on Windows 7, this problem only occurs with Chrome.I switch programs a lot, and chrome works best for me (usually) so i thoroughly hope that this gets fixed because it is a real hindrance and i don't want to switch browsers. I have the same problem. When I open Google Chrome, there is no task-bar. In order to get to the google home page with the task bar, I have to go to my gmail, open it, then click on Web at the top of the page and get to the google home page again. At that point the task bar will appear.
This is so annoying and it doesn't make a difference if I am in full screen or any other screen. F11 does not work, neither does the 'windows' button at the bottom of m,y keyboard.
Under settings I have it set for 'always show task bar'. I am getting very frustrated. Please help!!
