I'm a console player who has purchased Skyrim three times before this (Pre-ordered on Xbox 360, bought Legendary Edition on 360 when my brother lost my original copy, and purchased the GOTY on sale from Steam)For me, the price is absolutely justified. If you're looking at current gen vs past gen alone, you're comparing $20 for the past gen with the Legendary Edition. Current gen ports always cost more than their last gen counterparts.
So right there you have $30-40 of a justified price, but then you also have massively improved visuals and a game that runs significantly smoothers since it's a 64 bit counter part that isn't locked at 4 GBs of RAM. That justifies another $10, and the console mod support justifies the final $10.I'm sure people disagree but I absolutely feel comfortable paying $60 for what is essentially the Skyrim Ultimate Edition.
