Yet there are Castle walls and 'CASTLE' age units. No civilization is worth picking if you are looking for diversity. Most of them have the same units and there is nothing unique about any of them. You might as well turn on the ALL TECHS and just pick whoever is closest to the top of the list.This game is so ancient, and it being remastered was a great idea, but the mentality of these creators is that of a grandpa.
No effort went into this. Ai is still dumb, and there are no MODDING abilities. Least if that was there, we would see a better game and more players.I still play it to get the money's worth from it.However, if you are going to play it, keep in mind, it is not AOE. I have played 90% of the campaign missions on hard difficulty and have never not once had the game crash.
If you know nothing about computers and or have all kinds of malware/viruses and OS corruption issues than yes, I’m sure you are going to have a miserable time. I have a high-end gaming system and never once did I experience an error or any other kind of hardware/software related issue. As far as the gameplay, the game did have some pathing issues and AI glitches but most of these have now been resolved, its not perfect but its definitely not gaming breaking.
