Many tears shed. It dropped me into a capsized ship and I had to fight my way to shore, gathering supplies as I went. It doesn't hurt that I have Frostfall and so the first couple of levels were just me trying to gather food and keep warm.Of course, then my game glitched and made me a god. For whatever reason it made it so that everything I forged got me like 6-10 smithing levels. I jumped from level 6 to level 23 in the span of about 15 minutes. I got smithing to 100 by crafting six bundles of iron arrows and an iron helmet.
At this point I've made smithing legendary 6 times over. I've got 6 skill points that I CAN'T allocate, because none of my other skills have caught up to my smithing badassery. It was actually kinda cool. I can't swing a sword or cast a spell, but I'm in full legendary ebony armor with dragonbone weapons. Sorry, just a tangent.Anyway, I would go random and make up your story as you go. Fill in your backstory as you play it.
