Can I Trust Irfanview
.Helpful resources.General rules. Follow. Keep it civil and on topic. I've been getting publisher blocks all day when trying to download drivers from HP form a laptop. Everything that I can find online seems to say that indicate that you need to unblock the publisher in Internet Explorer however when you go to the block publishers tab there's nothing there it's random some drivers from the same webpage will work others will say that it can't be verified and it automatically blocks it.
If you right click that particular EXE then go to properties you can unblock it however when you try and run the file it then tells you it's been blocked by your administrator. However the account trying to install it is the administrator and it hasn't been blocked by me.

Starting with IrfanView 4.40 there is also a 64-bit version available. Some old 32-bit PlugIns (like RIOT and Adobe 8BF PlugIn) work only in compatilibilty mode in IrfanView-64 ( only 32-bit 8BF files/effects can be used) Command line options for scanning (/scan etc.). Yes i agree,irfanview is a great little program,for the huge number of formats supported and for it s speed,no loading times like in photoshop etc,so when you want to convert an image,or to view it very fast.there is nothing better.and regarding it s reliability i will quote ken rockwell on this one:'IrfanView's claim to fame is its huge base of formats it can decode.
