Skype causing blue screen door. First of all, howdy, few days back I started modding up FNV to spice up the experience a bit and am doing pretty well considering I had no clue how to do it at first. Multiple mods later I'm at a point where all I want is to get the atmosphere tweaked up and Nevada Skies seems to be THE mod for this. However, after extensive reading of readme's and doing many google searches looking for posts from people unable to install it, I'm completely fed up with the fact this mod simply does not work. I've re-installed it so many times, using FOMOD, manually, checked multiple versions, read multiple pages. At the end of the day, it just DOES NOT work - There is no added menu or Thermascope added which means, to me, that it's not installed - The sky hasn't changed, no weather is added, FalloutNV pretty much remains unchanged - Today alone I've reinstalled at least 5 times, made new games, tried old games, altered the load order etcNothing. Can someone please point me to an indepth guide? Even then, I suspect following it may not work as I've already followed multiple varied instructions as it is - Any particular thing that may be restricting the mod from working?Any help would be appreciated. I'm at the end of my tether and I just don't know WHY this is the only mod that installs but gives 0% change.Edited by RopeDrink, 18 September 2011 - 11:15 AM. Thanks for the reply and suggestion - Will bare that in mind.I went desperate mode and tried the backdated / older version, reinstalled and now I seem to have the older version running.

Nevada Skies Brighter Nights

I'm now afraid to try and update it to the recent version as it'll likely break it.I'm not struggling with modding, or installing mods, just this one in particular seemed to be compressed in a way that just made it awkward - (Obviously it was intended to be helpful but that plus the very vague info I got from sources about installation just made it awkward).I'll stick with this for now but if I decide to try and update it I'll come back and check this video out, thank you.

Fellout NV Adds realistic lighting to the game, and makes nights darker. Now you´ll really need that Pip-boy light to travel during nighttime. Nevada Skies - This mod adds more versatile Weather Effects to the Mojave. Lighten Up New Vegas - Adds more diversion to the soundtrack. Didn't take too long, thankfully.) If you've done this for every conflicting time period, you'll notice that there aren't any red columns left in Nevada Skies, under Weather. Save your Nevada Skies esm, Open up New Vegas, head to the Capital Wasteland, go outside, and wait at one-hour intervals for an entire 24-hour day. If this worked, you shouldn't get any blackouts, where you normally would with Nevada Skies active. Good luck, and I hope this was helpful. In Nevada, economic modeling projects that the cost of generating electricity, of which a component is the cost of installing and operating pollution controls, is less under Clear Skies than under the base case.
