Jun 24, 2012  Great mod. But to anyone starting out, invest in archers. Archers are OP. Grindy as in you have to level your troops before actual fighting (Quality over quantity), even if you have 50 recruits against 7 cultist they'll destroy your troops. When captured (will happen a lot) you lose some inventory and gear you were wearing which can be annoying. Prophesy of Pendor V3.42 WARBAND SINGLE PLAYER ONLY Not save game compatible with earlier versions Synopsis From the Founding of Pendor - the year is 354 A King has not ruled the shattered land of Pendor for many generations. What was once a proud accomplishment of man now is steeped in the myths of folklore and told as children’s bedtime. But to anyone starting out, invest in archers. Archers are OP. Grindy as in you have to level your troops before actual fighting (Quality over quantity), even if you have 50 recruits against 7 cultist they'll destroy your troops. “Charge!”Her warband, full of 300 epic prestige troops, her personal Order of Taylor, surged forward in a disorganized frontal charge, horses stampeding through the open ground in a massive wave. She bent over, couching her lance at the head of the charge and swept forward in a crazed beeline for the enemy. There was no need for tactics. Not with this extremely overpowered army fully equipped with Noldor gear and mounted on Spirit Horses. They had tested themselves against the godlike armies of Ithilrandr and Aeldarian, the two Noldor lords who refused to peace with humans, and triumphed. Hahaha this cracked me up good!

Interesting that Taylor forgets a few things about Earth Bet due to her journey to kingship and duties of ruling, so she defaults to M&B options of killing everyone and looting everything. Too bad they didn't have blunt weapons equiped, then they could have dealt with everyone non-lethally. I'd be happy to read a part 2, but I wonder if it would end with the armies of Pendor retreating back through the portal to avoid tactical nukes and missiles or with super speedy warbands spreading out from Brockton Bay too quickly to be stopped. Also, I wonder if the warbands will be asking cities and towns if they are 'a protectorate of the Kingdom of Peeartee', so they don't accidentally declare war on any other kingdoms.

That is if Taylor doesn't give her lords a proper debrief first. I agree with previous statements that we do indeed more stories where Taylor and her troops (they may be Sci-Fi, Fantasy like here, etc.) simply decide to conquer Earth-Bet with sheer force. This is absolutely entertaining to read even if my knowledge on M&B is pretty limited. I would love to see this as a full story, but in the end it's your decision.Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation Escalation.
