Third Age Divide And Conquer V2

Welcome to!A subreddit for all of those who love the Total War series. I prefer DaC personally, just because of the size of the map and the amazing expanding they did while keeping everything as lore friendly as possible, it truly feels like a new game. There's far more units, and because of all of the extra time spent working on it it truly feels like each faction is unique. Personally I'd say MOS isn't worth starting a new game over, but honestly one I'd started playing DaC I knew I couldn't go back. Here's a video by the creator of DaC where he outlines all the extra features when compared to TATW, I found it very helpful in making my choice.

DaC does tone down some of the more ridiculous garrison scripts, but generally the choice was made to keep them in by the development team to provide further challenge. Personally, I like the garrison script, but I have turned it off in the past (it's a simple 5 minute edit to one file, not a big issue at all).I'd say the general theme of Divide and Conquer is that it gives you a lot more content, depth and detail (including a lot of extra lore), but at the cost of choice. In DaC you simply don't get to tailor the game to your every whim (heroes besides Nazgul aren't immortal, and Tol Acharns are always on for example) like in MOS.Hope this helps!. Mh, let me think, its been a while. At the beginning of your campaign the game will confront you with a lengthy list of alternative scripts from which you can pick and chose as you wish. There is stuff like.Immortal Heroes Like Legendary Lords in Warhammer.Immortal Nazghul If you kill a Ringwraith they simply re-spawn back in Mordor.Greek Fire units for Rhun/Easterlings.' Bomb units' for Isengard.A script that allows you to reinstate a wiped out faction by re-capturing their capitol.A script that allows the Free Peoples of Eriador to reform into Arnour after re-capturing their former terretory. New name, new flag, new unit roster and all.The army of the dead.allows certain faction to spawn a relief army if the capitol / core province of their closest ally is under siege.A script that allows good factions to call for a that can be used if successful to unite all attendees against a single foe.

( bit like a crusade ).Script for Pirate invasions.Script that supplies Mordor with a bunch of additional, powerful armies during the late game.Script that allows you to replace the bodyguard units of your generals.Thats all I can think of right now.
