The Performance Information and Tools menu tells me that 'These drivers are causing Windows to resume slowly' -Name: PCMCIA Bus DriverFilename: pcmcia.sysDevice: Texas Instruments PCI-8x12/7x12/6x12 CardBus ControllerI understand from other posts on this forum that it is safe to uninstall this driver if it is not in use. Unfortunately, I can't find it. I've looked in Device Manager (there are two other Texas Instruments devices listed - neither one has the correctdevice name). I've also looked in Programs and Features and sysconfig Startup menu with no luck.My computer has been crashing consistently about 10 minutes after waking up from hibernation. My hope is that uninstalling this driver will fix the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It looks like the device 'Texas Instruments PCIxx12 Integrated FlashMedia Controller' is teh device you're looking for (the first two digits in '8x12, 7x12, and 6x12' got reduced to an 'xx12' in the device name for simplicity).

Make sure the PCMCIA memory card is not write-protected. Write-protection is controlled by a small slide switch in the end of the PCMCIA memory card. Insert the PCMCIA memory card. Make sure the PCMCIA memory card is completely inserted. It must drop down into the drive. Invoke formatting. For external compact Flash memory cards, issue the erase slot0: command. For internal compact Flash memory cards, issue the erase flash: command. To remove the files from a compact Flash memory card previously formatted with a Class A or Class C Flash file system, perform one of these procedures.
